YPF is a non-profit, inter-denominational organisation inspired by the vision of Pastor (Dr.) W. F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry — borne out of his deep passion to see the youth of this generation discover the essence of purposeful living through diligence, honesty, and integrity.
Since our inauguration in Kano in November 2022, YPF has grown into a vibrant community committed to nurturing a generation of professionals who are godly, visionary, and globally impactful — with active representation across most Group Churches in Kano.
Our Mission
We have organised impactful programmes including Business Symposiums, Financial Empowerment Seminars, Prayer Conferences, and the SHIFT Conferences in 2023, 2024 & 2025. We run weekly Meet-Up cell groups and have launched Opportunity Corner (job opportunities community) and Professionals Colleagues Group (PCG).
The conference was first held in June 2023 under the banner of the Mega Conference. It was then that we adopted the term 'The SHIFT' — a term that captured the essence of our mission: to bring spiritual, mental, professional, and personal transformation to young professionals.
